Privacy Policy
This is a static publication with no accounts, no comment system and no forms. Here is exactly what is and is not collected when you read it.
What we collect
Nothing directly. eRoadBikeGuide does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail, does not set its own cookies, and does not run an analytics script on the page. There is no account to create and no newsletter to join.
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard connection data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and uses it to deliver the site and to block abusive traffic. That data is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy policy and we do not receive it in a form that identifies you.
Third parties that can see your visit
- Cloudflare hosts and serves every page, as described above.
- Google Fonts supplies the Archivo typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google can see your IP address and the page that requested the font.
- Amazon and other retailers we link to receive your visit only if you click through to them. What happens after that is governed by their privacy policies.
We do not embed social media widgets, video players or advertising networks.
Affiliate links
Some links to retailers are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer records that the visit came from this site so that a commission can be paid if you buy something. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon may set cookies in your browser at that point according to its own policy. The retailer tells us aggregate figures such as how many clicks and orders came from the site; it does not tell us who you are or what you bought at an individual level. Affiliate links are marked with a disclosure on the page and carry the sponsored link attribute. How this affects our recommendations is explained on the about page.
Your choices
Because we collect nothing ourselves, there is nothing for you to opt out of on our side. If you would rather not load fonts from Google, most browsers let you block third-party font requests, and the site will fall back to your system typeface. Blocking cookies in your browser will not break anything here.
Changes and contact
If we ever add a feature that changes what is collected, such as a newsletter or a comment system, this page will be updated before the feature goes live. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact details on the about page.
